Pico Blanco Scout Reservation

Camp is filling up, get your reservations in now!! 1999 Camp Season Preparing for a great year!! Have you made your plans for this summer? If you haven't had the chance now is the time to get your unit signed up. A $50.00 deposit will reserve your site for this year's camping season at Camp Pico Blanco. There will be three Cub Scout Resident Camps and four weeks of Boy Scout Summer Camp. Our challenge is to get that fourth week filled up and make it a successful one for us. The Camp Staff for the 1999 Camping season has been employed. Steve Cardinalli, Camp Director, has selected a great group of adults and young men and women who will provide a great program to our youth this summer. Steve, the Council Camping Committee, and the Camp Staff will be actively promoting camp and getting Packs and Troops to attend in 1999. The 1999 Camp Pico Blanco Leaders Guide has been distributed to all Scoutmasters. If you would like a copy you may pick one up at the Council Service Center in Salinas. This year's schedule looks like this: Cub Resident Week #1, June 27-30 Cub Resident Week #2, June 30-July 3 Cub Resident Week #3, July 7-10   Boy Scout Week #1, July 11-17 Boy Scout Week #2. July 18-24 Boy Scout Week #3, July 25-31 Boy Scout Week #4, August 1-7 You won't want to miss out on this year's camping season at Camp Pico Blanco. Get signed up now before the camp sites start to fill up. Don't deny your Scouts this great adventure in the outdoors. There is so much to do at Pico Blanco now, with our new COPE Course and the opportunity for overnight backpack trips, the program opportunities are endless.
